Prairie Home Cemetery is a is a municipal cemetery owned and operated by the City of Waukesha, WI. The cemetery office is open on Monday through Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. and Saturday hours are available upon appointment. Cemetery grounds are open 24 hours.
Prairie Home offers a full-time Sales Service Specialist to help assist you with your pre-planning needs. Although not necessary, appointments are preferred; both evening and weekend hours can be scheduled to best accommodate your schedule.

We are currently undergoing updating and upgrading access to all cemetery administrative and historical records. Rich with over 150 years of history, we will be happy to accommodate families who wish to have complete family historical information, family trees, and various information researched; we simply ask that you request the information well in advance. Please note that there is a minimum charge for historical research.
