Conditional Uses

If the proposed use of a building or property is listed as a conditional use, a Conditional Use Permit is required. All conditional uses are reviewed by the Plan Commission.  In their review the Commission shall give due regard to the nature and condition of all adjacent uses and structures and in  authorizing a conditional use or special exception, the Commission may impose such requirements and condition with respect to location, construction, maintenance and operation in addition to those expressly set forth in this chapter for the protection of adjacent properties and the public interest. Such conditions and requirements may include specific requirements concerning landscaping, architectural design, type of construction, lighting, fencing, planting screens, operational control, hours of operation, highway access restrictions, parking requirements and other reasonable conditions as may be required by the Plan Commission to carry out the purpose and intent of this chapter
