Plan Commission Approvals Required
If you are proposing any of the following projects/application types, the Plan Commission will need to review your proposal: 
  • Site Plan & Architectural Review (new buildings and additions)
  • Rezoning
  • Land Use Plan Amendments
  • Certified Survey Maps
  • Subdivision Plat Review
  • Conditional Use
  • Airport Hangar Review
  • Home Industry
  • PUD Amendment
  • Temporary Use Permit
  • PUD Review
Meetings & Submittal Deadlines
The Plan Commission meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Common Council Chambers at City Hall, 201 Delafield Street. 

Applications for Plan Commission review are due in the Community Development Department no later than 4:00 P.M. on the Monday four (4) weeks prior to the meeting date

Overview
The Planning Department provides staffing for the Commission. The Commission, by ordinance, is comprised of:
  • The Mayor, who is the presiding officer
  • 2 alderman
  • President of the Park Board
  • A citizen architect member
  • 2 additional citizens
Citizen Members
  • Are persons of recognized experience and qualifications
  • Are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Common Council in April of each year to serve for 3 years or until his or her successor is appointed
  • Receive no compensation for service on the Commission
